Symptom I encountered this error while trying to run commands on Postgres running in a Docker container: sqlalchemy.exc.OperationalError: (psycopg2.OperationalError) FATAL: could not write init file Solution Ensure Docker has enough disk space, see Docker Quick Reference.
psycopg complains about missing pg_config executable. If you don’t already have pg_config installed and on your path, do this first: brew install postgresql Then install psycopg2 on command line: source venv/bin/activate (venv)$ pip install psycopg2 …Successfully installed psycopg2-2.6.1
But the column isn’t a timestamp anyway, so not sure why DBUnit wants to treat it as such. Solution Set columnSensing to false when creating the dataset. For a FlatXmlDataSet, you can specify a boolean in the constructor to achieve this.
If you are extending AbstractTransactionalJUnit4SpringContextTests, are you sure you need to do that? Removing that might fix it.
